Why would God create a world like this?

Why would God create a world like this?

Many people have asked this question?  “If there is a God, why would He create a world filled with murder, disaster, hunger, and sickness!

The world God created was perfect! The world we live in now is a fallen world and corrupted by sin!  When Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of knowledge of Good and Evil, or should we say the Tree of the knowledge of Go(o)d an (d)evil (knowledge of God and knowledge of the devil)This first sin, the Original sin, was the start and a chain reaction of the corruption, chaos, and breakdown of our world.  No longer was everyone and everything in harmony with God! There became disharmony and chaos pursued!  Men had created a world where there would be good vs evil based on their choice to follow God, or follow evil which comes from satan and our own fleshly evil desires!

People were able to still hear God and satisfy Him, for example, Abel(Adam and Eve’s son)was able to still have a relationship and satisfy God!

By faith, Abel offered to God a more acceptable sacrifice than Cain, through which it was testified of him that he was righteous (upright, in right standing with God), and God testified by accepting his gifts. Hebrews 11:4 AMP

And they also had the free will to disobey God and with the knowledge of evil to practice it! For example, Cain kills his brother Abel!

And the Lord had respect (regard) for Abel and for his offering; but for Cain and his offering He had no respect. So Cain became extremely angry (indignant), and he looked annoyed and hostile. And the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you so angry? And why do you look annoyed? If you do well [believing Me and doing what is acceptable and pleasing to Me], will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well [but ignore My instruction], sin crouches at your door; its desire is for you [to overpower you], but you must master it.” Cain talked with Abel his brother [about what God had said]. And when they were [alone, working] in the field, Cain attacked Abel his brother and killed him. Genesis 4:4-8 AMP

Abel and Cain both had the free will to choose to do Good(from God) or Evil (the result of satan and sin), but Cain who became angry and jealous chose evil and killed his brother!

Remember the world God created was perfect

Let me give you two examples to explain this! Let's say you made an awesome t-shirt that was clean and perfect!  Again the T-shirt you made was perfect! Now let's say you give the t-shirt to someone else and the T-shirt becomes dirty because of what they did in it! You did not make the t-shirt this way; it was a result of the things that were done by the person who was wearing it!

How do you get the t-shirt clean again? You wash it of course! We as Christian believers are washed by the blood of Jesus, His blood, and walking and abiding in Him is what makes us clean and is what saves us!

Another example: Let’s say you buy a new computer, the computer you bought runs perfectly! Again this computer is perfectly running! Now let’s say you go to a website by accident or, one on purpose that you should not go to, and a virus is downloaded to your computer that corrupts the files, the perfect computer that used to run perfectly and perform perfectly doesn’t run so great anymore!

Remember your computer was perfect when you bought it!

When you bought your computer it ran great. You loved it and you still love it but it is slowing down the work that you need to get done, that will benefit your household!  You wouldn’t want to leave your computer in its current state, it is going to affect the work you are trying to accomplish! So what you do is download software that will clean up your computer to Its original condition! Our download in our faith as Christians is the Holy Spirit! After he comes and lives in us, He does work to restore, guide, and comfort us to our original relationship with God before the fall of men!

The world we live in now has fallen and is corrupt like that computer with the corrupt files, that originally ran and was perfect!  With God’s help and instruction, men can do good and godly things that make the world more like the Kingdom of God, or they can choose evil, which makes the world evil and will end in chaos and destruction of our world!

As in these examples, God did not create this world, as it is in its current condition! The condition of this world is a result of men’s desire to follow their corrupt and evil hearts that are not in line with God!

Back to Adam and Eve

Water and Motor Oil Don’t Mix

Become a full Glass(vessel) of Water(living water)!

Another way God has given me to explain this process is to use a glass of water as a metaphor. Just like the glass of water is a vessel, we also are vessels. Think of a ship—it is a vessel that carries cargo. We are vessels like ships, and like a drinking glass that holds fluids like water, our cargo is the Holy Spirit(who is living water) and our Captain is Jesus.

A full glass of water represents Adam and Eve before the fall of man when they are living in the Garden of Eden and do not know of sin(evil). Before the first sin, the Original Sin of eating from the Tree of Knowledge, they are constantly connected to God and unity with His creation they again do not know evil!

Now after eating from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, and being removed from the Garden, Adam and Eve are no longer a full glass of water. They do not have that complete connection with God any longer.

I now want you to picture Adam or Eve as glasses of water, but now picture them(as vessels)half-full. Now the glass is only half-filled with water, which represents God and His goodness.  Imagine the other half of the glass is filled with motor oil, which represents sin and spiritual darkness which is evil. Oil and water can not mix,  Good in itself can not be mixed with evil, and evil in itself cannot be mixed with Good, however, they can inhabit the same vessel if it is allowed to become polluted. God through grace and the work of the Holy Spirit wants us to be pure vessels of Goodness that come from a pure, mature relationship with Him by abiding in Him and Him only!

Knowing their thoughts Jesus said to them, “Any kingdom that is divided against itself is being laid waste; and no city or house divided against itself will [continue to] stand. Matthew 12:25 AMP

In the Garden of Eden, before eating the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, Adam and Eve did not know what it was like to be angry or hate someone. These are all poisoned fruits of the devil. Adam and Eve knew only good during the time they ate from the Tree of Life.

God is calling us back to our original image of Him and in Him, an image not stained by sin and darkness. Remember, God is love and all Light—there is no spiritual darkness in God. He wants us to practice through grace(His(God’s) power) walking in His light. When we ask Jesus to come and live in our hearts and we walk in the fruits of the Holy Spirit and abide in Him we become like a full glass of water(a spiritual image of Christ) we are living and abiding in the Spirit. We are a new creation; we are born again. We are preparing for our heavenly journey. We are a Holy living temple of God, where he alone lives in us.

Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life]. But all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ [making us acceptable to Him] and gave us the ministry of reconciliation [so that by our example we might bring others to Him], that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting people’s sins against them [but canceling them]. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation [that is, restoration to favor with God].

So we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making His appeal through us; we [as Christ’s representatives] plead with you on behalf of Christ to be reconciled to God. He made Christ who knew no sin to [judicially] be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we would become the righteousness of God [that is, we would be made acceptable to Him and placed in a right relationship with Him by His gracious lovingkindness].

2 Corinthians 5: 17-21 AMP

For we are the temple of the living God. As God said:
“I will live in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people.” 2 Corinthians 6:16 (NLT)

If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk-in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.  If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  1John 1:6(KJV)

God has called us to separate ourselves from the evil things we do from within ourselves. He wants us to be filled with His goodness through the godly(good) fruit of the Holy Spirit and with His help and grace(His power rids us of any spiritual darkness(of our corrupt nature) that hurts our brothers and sisters in Christ and pushes away those who do not have a relationship with Him!

Why would God put a tree He knew we would eat from in the Garden?

Many say, “Why would God put a tree in the garden knowing that men would eat from it”? Reflecting on scripture we might be able to go by what God did with Job!  When God had bragged about Job and his sincere faith, the devil asked to test him to see if his faith and relationship with God were sincere or was it the result of all the good things that God had provided for Job. In the same way, maybe the devil who was in the garden disguised as a snake, asked if he could test Adam and Eve to see if their faith was real!

It is the same with us when we form a relationship with someone! We don’t want to be with someone who just wants the things we have!  We want to be with someone who sincerely likes, or loves us for who we are!  Remember even the Angels have free will(for example the devil, who is a fallen angel), the will to choose God and His perfect ways that lead to harmony with Him, others, our environment, and the Kingdom of God, or our ways, that lead to murder, disaster, wars, and hunger!  We each have been given a free will choice, to choose God who the Bible says is Truth and Love, or choose the world who is following the devil!

Both choices have eternal results(consequences). Choosing God means receiving blessings from God but also suffering caused by evil people who do not obey God and do evil in this fallen and corrupt world. Choosing God will result in eternal life in paradise in heaven where it is only Good as a result of knowing and having an eternal relationship with God.

Choosing the world may result in some worldly pleasures in our short life here on earth, but will end in eternal suffering that will last forever in Hell!

Question?  what the world would look like if the following examples were lived out?

1.) Men and women practice through faith the goodness(Godliness) of God!

What would it look like if all men and women followed God, sincerely loved Him, and out of loving Him, love their neighbors and even their enemies, walking in God’s spirit showing love, joy, kindness, patience, goodness, faithfulness, and self-control through faith, grace and practice with everyone?

Answer: it would look like peace on earth that comes from a relationship with God, and abiding in His spirit!  It would be heavenly, or heaven!

2.) Men and women practice both Good and Evil!

What would it look like if some men and women followed God and His ways which our love and most followed their evil ways from fleshly worldly evil desires!

Answer: it would look like our Earth in its current fallen state! Where people practice good and evil!

3.) Men and women-only practice evil, and are totally ruled by their evil desires!

Answer:  It would look like and be total chaos and destruction and suffering! It would be Hell on earth or eternal Hell that comes with a death separated from the presence of God, who is literally love!

Not a message to condemn, but to inform you of your choices!

This message was not to condemn you, but to give you a greater understanding of why we suffer on this earth, and why we need God and His love and Grace!

Grace!

I want you to realize that you will make many mistakes in your walk with Christ, but I want you to also realize that God will use these mistakes to help mold you into a mature image of Himself through grace(God’s unmerited power and favor)!

So please don't let anyone or yourself feel guilty, or condemned for making mistakes, just continue to practice through faith and grace growing into an image of Him(Christ)!

Jesus has poured out His love for you and in you and me. This unconditional love, unmerited favor, and power that lives within us as believers are his Grace through the Holy Spirit. So even though we are not perfect, we have Christ who is one with the Father and the Holy Spirit who now lives within us, who is perfect!

However, Christ also loves those whom we may not love and who like us are not perfect( who occasionally walk in their corrupt nature(their flesh)). He knows that when we are not expressing His love through grace to others, we could be potentially pushing others away from Him and eternal life! So through His Spirit and grace that lives within us, He has given us a model(an example) of the love He wants us to show to others through His grace. When we show His grace to those who have hurt us this model(example) of unconditional love shown, without merit is called mercy! This unconditional love draws humanity to Christ!

Paul gives us discernment(a way to determine) what God’s love and abiding in the Holy Spirit look like in Galatians 5:22 and he also gives us a glimpse of what living in our Corrupt nature(our flesh) looks like in Galatians 5:19! Please practice His love through grace!

God’s Love

Love(abiding in the Spirit) = love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control!

Corrupt sinful nature

Corrupt Nature(flesh) = strife, jealousy, fits of anger, sexual immorality, divisions, envy, hate & other acts that are not of God!

Earth = Choice God gives us a choice to where we want to spend eternity!

Earth = Choice
